Selectable Electric Power-Assisted Steering (EPAS)

You can select from three power-assist settings to give you the type of steering control you want when you want it. Comfort: This setting involves the least amount of steering effort. Perfect for everyday driving. Sport: This setting requires increased steering effort, delivering a more immediate connection to the road. Normal: Finally, this setting gives you a balance between Comfort and Sport when you want to engage more, but still need some level of steering ease.

The Ford Mustang is a classic pony car that inspires adventures and thrill. Thanks to the impressive revamp in 2015, the 2018 model continues the trend toward high performance and sophistication. Four trims are available: EcoBoost, EcoBoost Premium, GT, and GT Premium. All except the GT are available as convertibles, and all are coupes. Buyers have their pick between two engines: a 2.3-liter, 4-cylinder engine or a 5.0-liter V8. (The customary V6 got dropped for this year.) All four come equipped with rear-wheel drive and buyers choose between a six-speed manual or ten-speed automatic. Don't disregard the EcoBoost as the base trim, though, since it comes with many features intended to keep drivers excited including launch control (manual only), electric line-lock for burnouts, and a limited-slip rear differential. The Performance package enhances these components by adding stiffer front springs, a bigger radiator, 19-inch wheels and summer times, and a shorter differential ratio. The GT includes many of these features as well as Recaro front sport seats, a 12-speaker sound system, a heated steering wheel, and safety programs such as blind-spot monitoring. Additional features worth considering are a sportier interior trim, smartphone connectivity, and leather seats.
