Using an optional 240-volt Level 2 charger, charge time drops to roughly 3.5-4.5 hours, depending on outlet amperage. ** What’s more, the design of the 2022 Escape allows for the battery to be stored outside the passenger compartment, which frees up space in the cabin, offering plug-in customers more room without sacrificing space for the battery.
